Your information, handled with care
Bookkeeping means being trusted with sensitive financial records. This policy explains what we collect through this website and during an engagement, how it is used, and the choices you have. Last updated September 2026.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact or consultation form, we collect the details you choose to provide, typically your name, email address, phone number, business name and a description of what you need help with. If you become a client, we also receive the financial recordkeeping information required to do the work, such as bank and credit card statements, invoices, receipts and payroll summaries.
Our website host records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested for security and reliability purposes. We do not sell any of this information.
How we use your information
Information is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct consultations, deliver bookkeeping and recordkeeping services, prepare reports for you and your tax professional, send invoices, and keep records required by law. We do not use your information for advertising or share it with data brokers.
How we share information
We share information only where it is necessary: with service providers that support the work (for example accounting and document storage platforms, email and scheduling tools), with your tax preparer or other advisors when you direct us to, and where required by law or legal process. Service providers are permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us.
How we protect information
Financial documents are handled through reputable, access-controlled platforms, accounts are protected with strong authentication, and access is limited to what is needed to perform the engagement. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive documents as plain email attachments — we will provide a secure upload method.
How long we keep it
Inquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to follow up. Client records are retained for the length of the engagement and afterward for the period required by applicable recordkeeping and tax rules, then deleted or returned on request.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the pages to function. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them before they are used.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete information that we are not legally required to retain. California residents may exercise the rights available under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children's privacy
This site and these services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
